The Parish > Youth Work at Ealing Abbey

At the Abbey the Youth Ministry caters for various groups including:-

  • Youth Club: Is open for 11-14 year olds 7.30 -10.00pm term time only. Children can attend for two trial evenings before applying for membership. Parents are expected to help on a rota basis.

There is also a young people's prayer group that meets on Tuesday evenings.

On Monday nights we offer a young adults prayer group on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month at 7.30pm and a Taize group on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at 8.15pm. both events take part in the New Chapel.


Youth Council

In December 2005 we have established a youth Council for the Parish. This is not meeting until the appointment of a new youth coordinator.

Future Events

Youth 2,000 retreat

From 20th to 22nd June 2008 'Youth 2,000'  will again be holding a retreat for young adults in St Benedicts school hall. The retreat will be led by the Friars of the Renewal and many other priests and religious are expected to attend. Around 200 young people participated in this event last year
