Saturday 27th November
6.00pm Mass followed by Adoration with a prayer vigil for
the unborn, concluding with Benediction at 10.00pm  

Sunday 28th November (1st Sunday of Advent)
Advent Vespers at 5.00pm. Latin Vespers for the First Sunday of Advent. Readings and psalms led by the Monks of Ealing Abbey and the Ealing Abbey Choir, followed by Benediction.
Young Adults’ WELCOME evening  8.00pm – 9.30pm.
For young people between the ages of 18– 30
Each of the Young Adults’ meetings will include refreshment, social time,discussion, reflection on a theme and prayer.

Thursday 2nd December
Talk, Adoration and Benediction, 7.30pm.
‘Awaiting the Lord in Joyful Hope’ by Fr. Dominic Allain

Saturday 4th December
Handel’s Messiah, 8.00pm. Ealing Abbey Choir

Sunday 5th December  (2nd Sunday of Advent)
Organ recital, 5.15pm-5.45pmin the Abbey, Christopher Eastwood
Young Adults’ Group 8.00pm – 9.30pm. Theme - ‘Advent’

Saturday 11th December
Adoration and Benediction, 10.00am -12noon  The New Chapel,  Pro-Life.
Full day retreat, 10.15am – 4.30pm ‘Expecting Him with an attitude
of Faith’  Fr. Anthony Doe, £10 including hot lunch. With confessions at
11.15 am and 2.30pm. Adoration at 3.30pm

Sunday 12th December  (3rd Sunday of Advent)
Young Adults’ Group, 8.00pm-9.30pm. Theme - ‘Reconciliation’

Wednesday 15th December
Advent Quiet Afternoon, 2.00pm - 5.00pm. A time for rest and reflection. Led by Fr Robin in the Bulbeck Room. Tea and light refreshments

Thursday 16th December
Talk, Adoration and Benediction, 7.30pm.
‘Rejoice in His coming with Love…’ by Fr. Emmanuel Mansford CFR

Saturday 18th December
Advent Holy Hour, 10.00am-11.00am. Time for prayer and reflection in the Abbey.
Carols by Candlelight,  7.00 pm. Music and readings for Christmas,            Tickets available on the door. Price £12, concessions £10.

Penitential Services,  2.15pm and 8.00pm with
Adoration and Benediction and an opportunity for individual confession.

Tuesday 21st, Wednesday 22nd  and Thursday 23rd
Confessions 5.30pm - 6.00pm, and on Thursday only,  also at 8.00–8.30pm

CHRISTMAS EVE
Friday 24th December

Confessions 10.00am - 11.00am, 4.00pm – 5.00pm

Blessing of the Crib 3.00pm
Children come dressed as shepherds, angels, king’s etc

Solemn Vespers 6.30pm.
Vespers: The Evening Prayer of Christmas Eve
sung in Latin and led by the Monastic Community.
There will be no 6.00pm evening Mass

Nativity of Our Lord 8.00pm
The Vigil Mass of Christmas

Matins 11.00pm
Morning Prayer of Christmas Day
led by the Monastic Community.

Carols 11.30pm
With the Ealing Abbey Choir

Midnight Mass 12.00
Please arrive well before midnight if you wish a seat

CHRISTMAS DAY
Saturday 25th December
The Nativity of Our Lord. Masses at -
8.00am, 9.00am, 10.15am, (in the hall for families with young children),
10.30am (sung choral Mass), 12.15pm
NB There will be no evening Mass

Sunday 26th December
Feast of The Holy Family Masses as normal on a Sunday

Saturday 1st January 2011
Solemnity of Mary, the Mother of God
Special Parish Day of Prayer for Peace
Normal Saturday Masses will apply
Adoration and Benediction will take place after
the 9.15am Mass until 5.15pm

This runs throughout the year on Saturday mornings,
10.45am – 12 noon.

Course for CERTIFICATION OF PARISH CATECHISTS

From the Maryvale Institute and approved by the
Congregation for the Clergy in Rome.
A new cohort will begin on 12th February, 2011 at St. Benedict’s, Ealing Abbey. Applications are welcome from those already involved in parish catechesis or from anyone who wishes to increase their knowledge of the Catholic faith.
